- Your stallion and your farm will be marketed as contributors. Promotions will appear in regional publications and on the Internet.
- Your stallion will be included on the auction website with photographs, achievements and other promotional information. There can be a direct link to the farm’s website and email address.
- This is an opportunity for the promotion of young stallions.
- This is an opportunity to promote your stallion’s breed.
- Stallions will be entered with a minimum designated bid of one-half the regular stud fee.
- There is no direct cost to you because the winner of your stallion’s service will pay your required expenses, such as lab and shipping fees.
- Your support of the VA-MD Regional College’s equine reproduction program is supportive of this regions equine industry as a whole.

- The auction is an excellent opportunity for mare owners to help the VA-MD Regional College’s equine reproduction program.
- You may be able to obtain a stallion service at a discounted price.
- We have many quality stallions to choose from.
- Winning bidders will be listed on the website and in other promotional publications.
Benefits to the VA-MD Regional College’s equine reproduction program
We are helping to solve reproductive problems with the research we are conducting. Horse owners will directly benefit from a greater understanding of infertility issues and a contribution to their resolution. We aspire to provide excellence in reproductive education, research and teaching. Monies will directly support our technical staff, educational programs in reproduction, and fund important research to solve reproductive disorders in the horse.
Funds will be distributed by the stallion auction administrator, Dr. John Dascanio.
