Recent Activites
- Attended the Annual meeting for the Society for Theriogenology and the American College of Theriogenologists in Monteray, California in August 2007. These meetings brought together equine reproduction experts to share information.
- Attended the Annual meeting for the American Association of Equine Practitioners in Orlando, Florida in December 2007.
- Published articles and book chapter on equine reproduction.
- Awarded first equine reproduction scholarship to Katie Lipresti, a fourth year veterinary student.
- Designed HorseRepro.com website.
Goals for Upcoming Year
- Launch the HorseRepro.com website.
- Write 2 book chapters for the text Equine Reproduction.
- Raise money to support our equine reproduction program.
- Expand our clinical equine reproduction services at the VMRCVM.
- Start research projects on stallion semen and the pregnant mare/foal.
